Was some of that sea shells and sea weed products ?
I've rented some grazing ground for one year, soil tested and it's ph 5.3 not much point spending on it for someone else but will have to do something
Thank you, would you apply that pre drilling or post? If before, ideally how much before?Found the best stuff to put on to aid drilling was Limex , but we are just to far away for it to be viable
@Simon Chiles is your manDoes anyone have any recent prices for Calcifert?
I'm hoping to direct drill wheat into a burnt off grass ley this coming Autumn, at what point is the ideal time to spread the Calcifert in relation to drilling?
Also, once drilled is it a good idea to spread some nitrogen? As I've heard the dieing grass ley can lock up nitrogen for the following crop?

I think it's around £130 tonne. Maintenance you will need circa 100kg ha severely acid probably 700+ kg haSo I've got an old grass permanent pasture that needs some lime, how much calcifert per ha would you need to apply to sort the job?
Also, does anyone know how much calcifert is roughly?
