no they are not, the 1455's have a cult like following for some reason, the one on my photo i sold for £20,000 2 weeks ago. wish i had kept it now. £53500 is well over the top and i have no idea why anyone would pay that for it to be honest. where does he go from there? how is it ever going to go up in value

So you sold one two weeks ago for £20,000 and now your wanting to pay up to £40,000 for the same thing?

no, that had done 9,000 hours and was not what i would call an original tractor. i only paid £13k for it.

i want a low hour machine that is still in original condition

There won,t be many low houred one,s kicking about, most were well used, big tractor in its day, would of worked on big arable farms. Finding one with less than 5k hours, good luck with that.

yes, 1255's had the same engine as the 956 & 1056, the 1455 had the dt402 which had plenty of guts
There won,t be many low houred one,s kicking about, most were well used, big tractor in its day, would of worked on big arable farms. Finding one with less than 5k hours, good luck with that.
Just have to get it reconditioned.
I bet the cowle 1455 hasbeen bought to work
