Case 5140 hitch command switch and indicator lamp problem?

Hi all,
My tractor hitch command switch isn't working, and the orange lamp doesn't flash or come on at all, where would I look first at fixing this?

I’ve a 5130 , my switch plays up needing a wiggle to get the lift arms to move
Fairly cheap to try a new switch , assuming fuses etc are ok

had a new switch on it last year, checked fuses on both sides of steering column but what will the fuse be marked as, I couldn't see anything that looked obvious

Not sure off hand. I’ve a handbook in the tract, I’ll have a look tomorrow Our tractor mechanic/ man in a van is good with these , I’ll try and ring him , but it could be a couple of days as he’s been crook with Covid

I’d try a new switch again and also check your fender switches aren’t stuck

would a faulty solenoid effect the indication lamp or just the command switch ?

One of ours works perfectly but no light. Guessing it's just a bulb

If you are continuing to struggle let me know, I'll have electrical diagrams somewhere in my training manuals.

You say the orange lamp doesn't come on ? Have you checked the bulb or to see if there 12 volt going to the bulb ?

i have had another look i took the bulb off and tested it and it works but i have tested the wires going to it and to the switch and there is no power to them. do you no what feeds this section of the harness ?

Can’t see much in the handbook, here’s the fuse layout, I guess it’s a case of checking each one as they will share circuits
My book is soaked so hopefully you will be able to read it

Just had a quick chat to our tame tractor mechanic, he said like me above, must be on a fuse or relay , all I can think is going through them all

i have had another look i took the bulb off and tested it and it works but i have tested the wires going to it and to the switch and there is no power to them. do you no what feeds this section of the harness ?

Can you tell me if this is an early or late Maxxum ?
Does it have a neutral on the forward/reverse lever or not ?

I replaced the multifunction switch, and once I was able to get some life into the hydraulic arms. But now no more life in the hydraulic arms. The yellow light blinks only when the switch is in the center. In the other positions it does not blink. But the hydraulics are not working. Does anybody still have a solution how to fix this?

The lamp is supposed to flash with the switch in the middle position or whenever you press a fender button.
When you push the switch forward into the work position the lamp should go out and the arms should lift and lower on the setting lever.

Before the lamp was blinking in every position of the switch, now it blinks only in the center position. When I move it forward one step the blinking stops, but the lever setting does not affect the arms. When it worked normally the arms started going up and down according to the lever's position, but now nothing moves in the arms. They are totally dead. Why?

Do the arms move when the multi switch is fully back or fully forward? Maybe the lever is disconnected under the cab
