Case farmall/NH equivalent

There seems to be Farmall A , Farmall C , and Farmall U. Not sure they are all the same. Certainly the Farmall A will have a very different NH equivalent to the standard NH T5 (eqiv. could be a TD5, or TD 5050, maybe). I think if you are able to say which Farmall model it came off you may have a better chance of getting a helpful answer.... Some of the sub 75 HP Case Farmall will be a good deal smaller than those of 90HP upwards....

The smaller of the A is a 3 cyl. I believe the U was the same as the T5. Had a 13 reg 105U in work pretty sure it was the same as the T5.105 that is there. was replaced by the U replaced by the C?

Thanks.
i bought the loader and brackets and was told they fitted T5 and T6. Went to look at neighbours t5 and 6 but they looked nothing remotely similar.
By chance we were looking round a farmall in an auction and the holes measured up exactly same as my brackets. I just forgot to make a note of which model farmall. Didn’t realise there were variants.
I’ve got the same catalogue at work so I’ll see which model it was

As far as I know the A is 3 cylinder, C is the smaller 4 cylinder & U is the larger 4 cylinders. Pretty sure the U is a larger frame.
Recently acquired a 2014, 115A which has the 4.5 litre NEF engine same as TLA nh, from memory this was developed by FPT and Cummins, gearbox is basic 12 with powershift, electronic control of fuel injection then just mechanical draft control and cables and levers all round very simple and straightforward, 115U has an electronically controlled ZF gearbox and loads more electronics all round. Don't know details of the C. I believe the more recent Farmall models all have smaller displacement FPT engines.

Haha ignore me then. Never seen the bigger A models around. Didn’t even know they existed. Just looked on tinterweb & there’s what seems like dozens of different models & variations! Swear there wasn’t that many when the Farmalls first came out.

There are loads of different Farmalls and they have T4 and T5 as equivalents, several models of each of those. Most have the smaller 3.4l engine but some have the 4.5.

I'm no expert either but thought the A and the C were different option levels rather than actual physical size.
ie the C has electric shuttle while the A has manual for example. A being the poverty spec version of the two.
I do have a 95A but never counted the pistons in it.

🤣 It appears its a minefield! We’ve got a 55c with a cable operated shuttle. But that was when the range was first released.
