I am using Stihl ms211c
Is this automatic tensioner?
The chain is very tight
Can it be slackened
There is no book with saw
I need to get it sorted as I am having saw as part payment for job
The bar looks to be getting hot
and there’s no way of increasing oil
Like our old Stihl had
Thanks

I think the big white catch with black centre is to fasten the cover and hold the bar in place. The black adjuster above is to move the bar in or out.
Correct. As a guide, if you sit the saw on the bench you should just be able to pull the chain round before the saw moves. Also you should be able to lift the chain in the middle of the bar and see roughly half the tooth under the cutter.
