Chemical Price Tracker

Hot? A bit cheaper than Axial but only does oats. Never tried it in spring barley.

I would say on balance it is hotter, seems a much cruder product if you get what I mean. It is cheaper though. I am sure someone with vastly more experience of it will be along to tell you what can and cannot be done but I have never had any fears or problems where Axial was used. I might be completely wrong but Axial at 0.2-0.3L does a good job on oats if they are not monstrous. Don't quote me though as I'm going from memory. Also complete the interval between hitting with SUs like Ally and pinoxaden. Some mad person will be along to say you can mix them but I would not.

What adjuvant can I use with palio, agronomist is recommending kantor at £115/5lt?

Kantor is good & some swear by it. At 0.15% of spray volume you're looking at 150 ml/ha or £3.45/ha at a water volume of 100 l/ha. Alternatives are water conditioner (if using hard mains water) for <50p/ha plus a non ionic wetter @ 1% of spray volume for 38p/ha.

I am a fan of adjuvants but there are good sales margins to be had on these & I prefer to make my own bespoke brew according to what I'm targeting, what chemical I'm using and for my own quite hard water. It's much easier for an agronomist to write a recommendation for one product that covers lots of bases.

Edit, to keep the price tracker going, X Change is £2.05/litre & Activator 90 was £3.84/litre last time I bought some
