Claas 98VX combine

Selling my 98VX due to change in summer commitments, nice combine previously sold to me by Rodney Cowle. 1911 hours, straw chopper, 3d sieves, air con, header height control, 15ft header. Any inspection welcome, very genuine combine from a small farm.

How many ac a year has it been cutting? Would suit us perfectly in semi-retirement cutting 200ac a year.

Over the last 3 years it's averaged 233 acres a year. I think 500-600 with a sensible rotation would be well within its capability. If you don't want to look then get an independent or Claas engineer to have a look for you.

Apart from a hydrostatic box and a newer shape cab, do you know what if any internal improvements would have been made over our 1989 Dominator 98S?

Long Shot, but I don't suppose Rodney wants to help you out and buy it back, would be enlightening to see how he values it now.

He's got a barn full of the things himself so not an option really. If he was selling it you would be looking at high 40's for this so I don't think I'm far out.
I think the controls have been refined, ie header controls on single stick, grain auger on foot plunger, etc.
