Been trading in the low 160s round here farm to farm,cos growers would rather over year it than sell for less.Could be a real shortage of new crop unless the weather breaks soon.

I know I’m day dreaming, but a USA farmer said last spring that if every farmer sprayed off 20% the price rise would more than make up for it, we get the added bonus of a dumb government already paying us not to grow food

The response to this suggestion from his neighbouring farmers was "you go first and we'll think about it"

To be fair its a mill we buy cattle feed off, so there is good will, but its not collected from the farm they deliver feed too

Maybe you need to be buying for a competitor, they seem to be struggling to get milling wheat into mills.
Mine keeps getting cancelled for no reason other than breakdowns.

If futures are below cost of production are any growers buying the equivilant of what they would have had to trade had they got planted to keep ‘in the game’?

Anyone think wheat is a “hold” until Nov. ? Weather similar in Europe.. Are we on the cusp of a serious rally in prices..! I dunno but surely it’s now a strong possibility… I have been thinking that Governments worldwide have been leaning to keep grain prices low and therefore food prices stable … what does anyone else think ?

Recon were on the cusp of a big rally. Shame we'll probably have to sell what we've got left for cash flow before it gets going.

I'm not sure traders are that smart,it won't rally until proper harvest data arrives.
