Crystal medicines recording?

Is there anyway to do group or herd medicine recording, without doing each individual animal?

My Farm Assurance man said it isn't necessary for wormers to be in there, so going to have a separate medicine book (probably paper based) just for batch recording. Don't know if it is possible with Crystal, I haven't found a way so far. Bloody tedious to go to every animal when you've dosed a big group and adding a new treatment and new medicine application to each treatment. Even worse when someone gives you a scrap of paper with a load of numbers on from three weeks ago.

Yes you can do group entry with crystal but I have issues with adding batch number so add that as remark. Have a list of animals including the ones you treated on screen. Right click on any animal, which brings a list if options, half of list is to add data for individual animal the bottom half of list is for group adding. ( From memory as not near computer at moment) when you have list you can add details to top animal and fill down, use the tick to select which animals to apply to. Hope that makes sense, I have quite an old version of crystal but hopefully it has not changed in later versions. Crystal does annoy me at times but you can do quite a lot with it.

We have a relatively recent version as we added more hardware and the original version threw its toys out of the pram. Only since this was installed have I considered putting the medicines on, after previously briefly looking at it. Likewise we've put the batch number as a remark, for individual treatments it has surprised me at its user friendliness. Thank you @Farmersdaughter I'll give that a go.

I'll have a look out for this too. I did see something in the Help system about Manual Editing of Data... would that be anything to do with it?

Not wishing to high jack but another crystal problem.
We have a selection gate which selects bulling cows very efficiently. Because we are block calving when a cow is served we turn the traffic off for a fews days so that cows are not reselected ( and then overfill the yard and race) That works fine but when we turn traffic back on it selects the cow at the first milking, fine afterwards. Never used to do this, no upgrades, support could not answer. Any clues?
