These internet sales must make life for ringers difficult .
Can you explain exactly what it is you think they’ve done wrong?I didn't know about the sale where the purchased the machine from until a friend told me about a month later. With no movement on the asking price, no servicing or repair work done and no warranty given I don't think I can give them a glowing endorsement.
would have given a glowing endorsement in his mate had told him they had lost money on said item tho, some folk are Just pansys .Can you explain exactly what it is you think they’ve done wrong?
Were you forced to buy from them or was it misrepresented in any way?
Would you be happy had you not found out where it came from?
As long as you were happy at 10k that's all it's about possiblyBought a machine off them for £10K. Bit peeved to learn they only paid £5200K for it in a farm sale, but hey that is good modern business I am told!
What machine was it ?Bought a machine off them for £10K. Bit peeved to learn they only paid £5200K for it in a farm sale, but hey that is good modern business I am told!
Lie detectorWhat machine was it ?
Maybe you should start a thread about all the things you have paid over the odds for, Shirley this cannot be the only thingI didn't know about the sale where the purchased the machine from until a friend told me about a month later. With no movement on the asking price, no servicing or repair work done and no warranty given I don't think I can give them a glowing endorsement.
very good to deal with. Dad and myself have had various tractors and bits off them since they started out. Heard of a fella up the road bought a tractor off them recently but had 2 leaking spools that weren’t picked up on until the tractor was on farm. No problem they came out and replaced them foc.So to summarise, they sound like very genuine dealers, You were happy with the price or you wouldn't have bought it. Very unfair to now call them for what you believe is a profit.
Certainly sound like one of the more honourable dealers out there.
Knowledge is profitI didn't know about the sale where the purchased the machine from until a friend told me about a month later. With no movement on the asking price, no servicing or repair work done and no warranty given I don't think I can give them a glowing endorsement.
Yes you should have told the man exactly how much you paid for it and then only offered it to him for a pie and a pint in your local.🫣I once bought an item at a collective sale for ten pounds
A few months later the item was “in season” and someone placed a wanted ad looking for one.
Knowing the value of it, i called the man and sold it to him for £275.
Am i a bad person?
But is that not the nature of their business? They won’t get a profit like the one you say they got all the time, as long as you thought you got value for your money on the machine and no problem with it, move on!Bought a machine off them for £10K. Bit peeved to learn they only paid £5200K for it in a farm sale, but hey that is good modern business I am told!
Terrible having to make a phone call , may be you should have asked for the price of the call backPOA!
That's what all his stuff is priced at on the website.
When I was after a machine I had a few dealers with similar items on the list. Some were priced some not including his. Planned a day looking at potential machines and phoned him up for some details and a price. Was a short call he mentioned the price. I could see a number of faults in his video but it was a take it or leave it as his price was way dearer I left it. If he had put a price on the website he could have saved us both a phonecall. Also surprised he is prepared to workshop check and sort faults that's not the impression he gave me.
Think you’ve missed the point slightly.Terrible having to make a phone call , may be you should have asked for the price of the call back
exactly.Think you’ve missed the point slightly.
If he knew the price he wouldn’t have had to waste his own and the sellers time to establish he didn’t want it.
could’ve made that decision in a few seconds if the price was advertised
