I have two non genuine Makita ones and to be fair they’ve been ok, maybe don’t last as long but I think they were two for the price of one genuine

I should add I’ve only bought genuine ones since, they have come down in price

I bought a couple fleuron 5amp batteries 4 /5 years ago when I bought a dewalt leaf blower , they've been alright but starting to give bother now, 1 doesn't hold charge and the other doesn't last very long, they're fine on the cordless drill etc but the grinder has killed them I think.

There are batteries for Dewalt at £x and Dewalt batteries for £2x, the price says it all, the cheap ones don't last. If you only use a drill for 20 minutes at the weekend then the cheap ones would be a good buy, though.
