We generally only do full or part livery & only ever had a handful of diy customers over the years , the remaining one left a couple of weeks ago - never ever again will we have a diy on the yard . We were charging £35/wk , use of stable, use of arena & grazing . It’s not the horses that’s the problem it’s the owners .

we £30/week on a small ( 10 stables shared tack rooms) tidy yard with full olympic size all weather arena and think we are long overdue a price rise ?

Don't think any amount of money can compensate you for putting up with naggs and their owners and all the paraphernalia and grief that go with them ....

tend to agree but it’s not something i have to have any involvement in whatsoever thankfully

No exercise facilities, no tackroom, no feed/bedding.

We do our own fencing, water, spraying, topping etc

Over the years all the troublemakers have been & gone and not been replaced, so we are the only ones left

when you think that people will quite happily throw £5 at a Costa the more i think about it £30 really is too cheap

we were £22 in 1999 so only £8 inflationary rise in 24years !

my wife takes the king Solomon approach to management here - any trouble / hassle and you are all gone regardless of fault ! have a waiting list so easy to fill stables apparently

We only have a couple on but we’re on £50/week with grazing, stable and tack room but no arena, we supplie straw bedding as well though.

We have an outside area 30 x 20, fenced and secure, drained sand/rubber menage. It is well used and appreciated. Not perfect but another attraction. We also allow access to margins to around the farm.

We are £60/week including hay and straw, 20 x 60 arena, monarch walker and lunge pen, too cheap really. Got planning permission for 30 x 70 indoor arena but at a cost of £600k followed by a further £12k business rates per year im doubting whether its worth bothering
