Put your prices up and see what happens , best the other half breaks the newswhat are others charging for DIY horse livery - stable and grazing ?
we £30/week on a small ( 10 stables shared tack rooms) tidy yard with full olympic size all weather arena and think we are long overdue a price rise ?
YesAre all those figures above just stable and grazing, no feed or bedding?
I would quite happily but my other half is horsey type so wouldn't go down too wellTell em to shove off then, see them blush and go quiet.....
Don't think any amount of money can compensate you for putting up with naggs and their owners and all the paraphernalia and grief that go with them ....
sounds like £30 is a bit cheap though
That would be the going rate round here.
We pay £18/week for stable & grazing.
No exercise facilities, no tackroom, no feed/bedding.
We do our own fencing, water, spraying, topping etc
Over the years all the troublemakers have been & gone and not been replaced, so we are the only ones left
Ok well i’m A fair bit short of thatofficial arena is 40m x 20m
What’s min size for indoor arena?
We have an outside area 30 x 20, fenced and secure, drained sand/rubber menage. It is well used and appreciated. Not perfect but another attraction. We also allow access to margins to around the farm.Ok well i’m A fair bit short of that
Definitely not worth bothering, easy decision! We are £60/week including hay and straw, 20 x 60 arena, monarch walker and lunge pen, too cheap really. Got planning permission for 30 x 70 indoor arena but at a cost of £600k followed by a further £12k business rates per year im doubting whether its worth bothering
