I would fill the fronts full, it’s saves having the suspension riding on the stops with 2 ton hanging off the front when the drill is in work.

It totally transformed this, although the diff did squeak a bit when ploughing in wet conditions it had that much grip.

if £££ is short for the project instead of trying to mount 2 weights why not make a frame to mount the 1 weight further forwards? would be then comparable to 1 weight block on front linkage?
cheapest option fill fronts with water makes a hell of a difference, did this for a couple years to plough here.

im in a similar situation front links are not really an option for me, swap tractor more realistic! I have 360kg of plate weights plus 225kg wafer weights on in front again on an mf 3120 to combi drill and its fine going down road with 1/2 ton in. don't water ballast anymore now we have front weights

Is that not the new belly weight they launched last year at agritechnica, mounts under the rear of the tractor as a easier to attach wheel weight system
No just a bigger one piece version of the big pack, can’t find a photo as I don’t think anyone if daft enough to buy one:ROFLMAO:

I thought about retro fitting front linkage to push the weight out further but that wouldn't be cheap...
Yes a press would be good but that would require buying front linkage and a press!
I already have the extra weight so I'm thinking along the lines of @General-Lee and maybe using the 3 point linkage points to link 2 weights together somehow

What about ballast in the front wheels? Water is really cheap.
