Farm Insurance

Gone with Farming and General this year. https://www.farmcover.co.uk/ after falling out with the NFU attititude, that my business was not worth much effort... So I saved over 20% by upping sticks...

I have not much interaction with F&G other than phone calls and emails setting up the Policy cover last September. I did get a visit from a Rep, who is now handling my account and has been quick and helpful. Place the business with a range of different Insurers, as will most Brokers.

Just had my renewal and it's about 10% but I've not made a claim in a very long time, in fact don't think I've ever made a claim with this company.
The price is ok but the customer service has become awful, I had to chase the renewal quote, they said they had posted it, but never arrived and also via email but they used an M instead of N in msn, why as they always used it correctly, impossible to reach by phone and no actual apology for sh!t service,
Mole insurance. They used to be good for service, change of staff and gone to pot

Farm insurence from £4300 to £5000. Standard 400 acre beef and sheep farm, farmhouse and rented out cottage. Motor insurance about stand on at £2700. Currently with denis o brown. Any other times i have tried to get an alternative quote it seems to be higher from nfu etc. So frustrating, even with no claims it keeps going up.... i thought building supplies etc were getting cheaper?
