Our contractor has a 2yo 4220, one of the first on farm, been an absolute nightmare, loads broken, lost so much time this autumn he's just bought another new one, which JCB had with him within 10 days. Kept 2yo one as still got 3000hrs warranty on it and wanted another tractor.
Based on nothing more than what I've seen when travelling around the country, there does seem to be a good few Fastrac 4000 series around.
Are people swapping their Fendts/John Deeres for them or have I just been lucky to see the ones I have?
So bad, he bought another one.
You have to take in to account that they only make tractors for a small percentage of the overall market. All JCB will care about is their share of the 160-310hp market.Wonder if they can get up to 2% of the market?
That will be music to JCBs ears. Must have cost them a fortune to develop the 4000 series. They need to be selling to new buyers.I've a 4220 coming beginning of November, in place of a John Deere 6150r. Intending it doing everything my Deere did.
And is that 2% yet?You have to take in to account that they only make tractors for a small percentage of the overall market. All JCB will care about is their share of the 160-310hp market.
Bad back ,safety ,future proof, hydraulic system not contain a wearing system, the list goes onwhy would you buy one instead of a normal tractor unless doing a lot of roadwork?
