Fastrac sales

Based on nothing more than what I've seen when travelling around the country, there does seem to be a good few Fastrac 4000 series around.

Are people swapping their Fendts/John Deeres for them or have I just been lucky to see the ones I have?

Spent the summer demonstrating with a 4220 and a 8330, lovely and smooth with a great cab, selling well in Oxfordshire

Our contractor has a 2yo 4220, one of the first on farm, been an absolute nightmare, loads broken, lost so much time this autumn he's just bought another new one, which JCB had with him within 10 days. Kept 2yo one as still got 3000hrs warranty on it and wanted another tractor.

So bad, he bought another one.

Exactly what I thought when he told me he was off to order another.
Guess JCB have stood by it adequately. It's now gone in for new hubs all round! Not slagging off either JCB or the 4220, just telling it like it is. He told me they knew they were taking a risk getting such an early production one. They are confirmed Fastrac users, now got at least 4 in the fleet, balance being 700 series Fendts.

No idea! Don't know what anyone's market share is for that hp bracket. But JCBs overall market share is pretty irrelevant given that they don't make utility size tractors or anything above 310 hp or there abouts.

A friend just got one. It's a weapon. Dispels all the bad points of the 3230 model. Completely different machine. Lovely to drive and not as thirsty as the 3230.
