I know what it says in the book, (fuel dispenser??) and it appears to be fuel related, but has anyone had these before and actually been able to find the problem and fix it?

Seems to come on when going up a hill under load, de rates itself then the second message comes on with the egg timer which I think means will shut itself down after 5 minutes. If you stop and restart it seems to go ok for a while.

Have changed both fuel filters today but it's still doing it:banghead:

If it under load probably a fuel blockage and the metering valve is going to full flow . If this happens the 2 min timer pops up to prevent the fuel getting to hot. Look under the green plastic bung on the primer pump there is a rubber ball under there and dirt grass stuck can get jammed in there . . . Had this multiple times

In our older model 718, we had a blockage in the non return ball valve arrangement in the top of filter housing of the first filter under the right hand steps. Tractor would run them stop after about 20 seconds

Apologies for the thread diversion, but seeing the console display above reminded me I have an intermittent backlight (LED) problem on the fuel side of the display.

The backlight is badly flickering, looks like an LED fail or dry joint on the board. Anyone else had this?
