Your not alone, I’ve had to resort to dropping the bags off the times from 5-6 foot then emptying the hopper every time to get the small lumps out or it bridges on the hopper screen
Doesn’t say Mole Valley on the bags by any chance

10 more bags and I’m through this lorry load of UreaNo it’s not Mole Valley.
It’s urea and it’s slightly lumpy. Then the problem is compounded by the liner tearing itself away from the outer at the top and sliding out with the mass of fertiliser. It’s then difficult to pull the liner out of the heap in the spreader. I’ve had to do a round or two sometimes to lessen the heap to get the liner out. Liner necks used to go through a hole in the outer and be tie wrapped over. Now there’s some kind of loop of liner goes up through the bag strap but it’s not man enough, tears away and the liner drops through with the fert especially if a bit lumpy.
I bet you can’t wait. I’ve been using a fence stake to batter the sides of the bags. Somebody said I looked like Basil Fawlty.10 more bags and I’m through this lorry load of Urea
That's what I've been sent.
we do multiple passes of straights . very variable soils and indices so do variable straights massive work load had big day yesterday first day where you think mmmm no decking windCan you not get a compound/blend of n p k and one pass would save churning up tramlines as much. Yara do lots of different compounds surely you could get one to suit
I don't know if you do tiktok but this popped up and thought of you and your struggles
I got surprised when it was fit to travel Sunday afternoon. Then if rained overnight so I still havent finished a first pass yet... not that much of it is good enough to justify any fert at all, throwing good money at a bad crop never satisfies! My sixty acres of heavier good wheat land is simply impassable. Nothing on it at all yet. Just being doing 600 kg loads on my lighter land until we had the rain was it Monday night. Nothing done since. Fitting a set of old terras to my Lambo as an emergency measure with single bag loads. It’s unprecedented. Trying to engineer my way through it but feel more like just giving up on it and closing the gate rather than throwing more money and effort at it. Agro writing some fairly hefty herbicide tickets. Personally I wouldn’t but I’ll defer to his knowledge.
Wheats have had 2 splits of a 4 split strategy, brother's barley has only had 50kg/N to date, he is waiting for delivery of the rest. How everyone getting on, i'm going to complete my winter barley today wheats only had one pass.
That's what I'm seeing, it's scary how fast it used/lost that 1st 50kg though. Stuff that has had to wait a bit longer for the 2nd pass are showing.Went out and about yesterday and looking round im glad we went early as looks as if some have not had much if any N, those crops that have are certainly improving
Did the same today.Going to put it on Easter Sunday, save spending time with the in-laws
