De Lage Landen are doing a lot of machinery finance these days. Either in their own name or as the backers behind manufacturer brands such as Agco finance.
Found them to be very competitive recently.

Try your bank for a personal unsecured loan , you might find that's a good option. Be aware of fees on the start of loans and at the end . Refuse to pay them on finance deals why the f should you pay for there paper work. Be hard about it often you will get away with it or pay £50 but be hard about it .

May not be relevant to you but a friend of mine has just spent a similar amount of money. He put it on a sainsburys credit card. 0% for 27 months. I don't know the small print though.

That is what I would do
Most Ag finance companies won't be interested in a small £5k balance as it's below their minimum loan amount value

Sainsbury was 3.5 % when i was looking at cars last year seems to have gone up abit tho!

That's what I was about to suggest, bought by last 2 cars with CC capital advances, up to 36 months interest free although the set up fee can be 2 to 3% Virgin money was cheapest last time I looked, Did it from the laptop at home in less than an hour. Frighteningly simple.
