I think we need the context here ….

It all has arisen because GWJ posted a video showing how to skin a dead lamb in order to fool a ewe in to adopting an orphan.
The death threat stated that “they” would slit GWJ’s throat in revenge.

Not sure how or why “Regen Ben” has waded in to this tbh.

Twitter though … no sane person should go near it

I think Gareth has a presentation style which is probably safe to say is divisive.

^^^ this

farmers are on twitter for one of 3 reasons

1) narcissism
2) for a argument / fight
3) to build profile to gain a gravy train job

there are no swear filters and no moderation yet those that use it claim it’s “better” than TFF 🤣

I do use it and try and have a sensible discussion but it's really hard. There are so many bots.

no one reads twitter - everyone just posts

its had its day imo - NFU clones love it though, its like a direct line to gravy

Gareth is “marmite” …….. i can identify 🤣

I read it for some perverse form of entertainment.
Allan Savory versus George Monbiot is quite interesting at the moment!

I think it's pretty grim really. Savory is trying to expand the debate quite politely and all these vegan nuts are calling him a racist or elephant killer. It's just such a low standard of discussion, it's why twitter is sh!t

Totally, the nutters are showing themselves up.
I hope that they manage to get together for a face to face discussion. Savory has demonstrable, practical evidence and has been on quite a life journey. Monbiot has just read a lot of academic papers.

Very much had it's day, used to really enjoy it and met some interesting people but these days it's mainly just whining and arguing round in circles

I'll reserve my thoughts on gwj for now...

I enjoy twitter, made quite a lot of friends from there, the block and mute buttons are your best friends. I think a lot happens in private groups now, where most of the sensible discussions, support and taking the pee happens between like minded people.
