Glamping Pods

We’ve currently got a niche diversification which we’ve started up recently and keep getting asked by many people on a weekly basis visiting if we’d offer glamping type pods in the future. Only at the initial idea stage at the moment, as I’m not really sure what’s involved from planning to choosing what to go for etc. There’s a lot of our customers who are family’s so I imagine it would want to sleep 4?
Anybody got any glamping pods? How hard is planning and getting it set up etc?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Just as a general comment, my FIL/MIL started a glamping pod business a few years ago. They don’t know what to do with all the money they’re making now. Utterly transformed their hill farm business. So go for it. Sounds like you’ve got a willing market begging you to put up with any planning hurdles. Looking at the sheer number of glamping pods that have sprung up around here planning can’t be difficult anyway.

The problem is as Daveghrol says ,the ve sprung up everywhere ,if you have a market wo nt put you off, BUT speaking to pod maker, he said "I m cashing in while i can ,the market will soon be overdone". Either go flat basic or all in luxury
