Grass based dairy farming as a career

Right then, after about a year to 14 months, I finally sorted my self confidence out and started to belief in my self again, got to stick to one sector in farming and determined to start a career in grass based dairying, got to be Spring calving.

Looking for a dairy assistant job towards end of the year, or guaranteed start of 1st January.

Yes I now its only end of July, but want to be prepared right and find right job, looking for somewhere to progress.

Anyone worth asking?

Thanks

there's a post on the Pasture to Profit Group at the moment "Positions still available on grass based units throughout the Midlands. PM if interested." - where abouts are you?

I would say calving is probably the worst time to start. If you already know where stuff is, what the cows are like, how each other member of the team works BEFORE the most mental time of the year then that would be of huge benefit to your manager.
I totally agree I take people on in the summer usually, contact lic uk as well they can send an email out to their clients.
