I know a lot of people who celebrate New Years mid January with the old Gregorian calendar. It’s more of a celebration to them than the 31st December…Work colleagues are having a 'drumming with candles and mead' evening tonight, it's a bit hippy for me but I applaud their determination to maintain rituals that were here long before this time of year was hijacked by commercialism.
is it my age but im getting pizzed off , 2 funerals before christmas and 2 in the new year!merry christmas to everyone who can have one . sadly i have a family member who has had his wife taken with no previous illness, so sad .
