A big problem we should all take seriously , sending our plastic waste to malaysia amongst other places, very sad that we can't even deal with our own waste !
I agree but i think plastic carrier bags should be banned altogether, if it's not made it doesn't need to be dealt with as wastePeople are lazy unless its forced upon them when the carrier bag tax came out the uproar. However in reality a positive
They might be recyclable but i think it's right they brought it up, because if we are just shipping all this waste abroad, it's still a big problem albeit elsewhere, recycling isn't the answer to this problem, not making it in the first place seems the sensible thing to do !Making a programme about single use plastics then spend most of the programme talking about water bottles which are 100% recycle able.
Plastic never goes away ! That's the biggest problemThey have just designed a almost 100% plastic car.
If anybody thinks plastic is going away they are in coo coo land.
The plastic thats made with fossil fuels will stop one day. They have just designed a almost 100% plastic car.

What about lawn mowersPlastic never goes away ! That's the biggest problem

What about them ?What about lawn mowers
But what happens to all this plastic when it eventually breaks down into microscopic particles ? Which it most certainly will given enough time, there is already serious problems with microscopic plastic pollution in our oceans, i'm not saying plastic use is going to slow down or even stop anytime soon, but surely we need to at least try to do our bit, by not using it if there is an alternativeWe make plastic bottles in work, they don’t go out as a bottle they go out as a preform shaped ready to blow into a bottle.
We are currently making 5.5 billion units a year.
Almost all are made with 50% recycled plastic now, next step will be 75%, but getting hold of enough recycled material is the problem.
What about them ?
Am i missing something ?
Cottons better for boxers less itchy wools ok for soxEveryone on twitter please tweet him this - a retweet from someone like Hugh would spread the positive message a long way

It'll have to come a time when you have your own milk jug or churn which you clean at home and refill. The milkman can go round with an IBC and you top up your jug the amount you require. Why do they except in those Countries in the First place?
Money.
No good say "oh look there is so and so supermarket carrying bag" .
How do they know where it is going to end up.
They all want milk back in glass bottles ,yes ok but as local direct dairy says ,increase in price, extra weight, vehicle ,fuel use etc.and then goes against their easy sell and forget and green image if they got to collect used bottles and all the heat to boil and sterlise them again.
