not knowing the machine, but having extensive experience here of tyned implements using hydraulic rams / accumulators instead of a big spring, id say yes.
the ability to set your release / breakout pressure
a much "softer" action / release than a shear bolt breaking ( & this isnt relevant to a shear bolt implement, but a much "softer" return than a big spring gives )
fully agree with the above but would add they come with a cost penalty so unless you need it due to stones it becomes cost prohibitive and its aload of pins and bushes and rams seals etc to wear over time too. But if you have stones an absolute god send.
