If you aim at running your tractors to at least 10 000 hours (hopefully alot more) with a minimum of trouble, how important do you guys think that it is to have separate oils for transmission and hydraulics?
As long as your careful then no issue. Have got an MX110 with 13000 hrs on it, only issue we have had was the fwd/Rev clutch pack, due to lots of loader work
Hi
Just another thing to add, is that if your are running multiple tractors make sure they use the same back end oil if possible. In the case of separate hyd and Trans oil then if possible change the hyd oil with an utto or similar oil
We currently run four tractors, all of them with 6000-9000 hours on them. Only one of them has separate oil and we have not had any issues at all so far with any of the tractors. The one with separate oil is also the only CVT tractor... is there a difference in importance if its a CVT or a PS gearbox maybe?
And btw I also use the same oil in all tractors hydraulics.
