Aww so leading for alot more wear and tear on the hydraulic pumps and bearings etc etc.
I thought the suspended front axle looked like a chunky boy even if it was a grease nipple nightmare.
Got suspension and 600 backs solid centres never lift at all even with heavy bales !
This weight distribution thing is something other manufacturers have picked up on .But 50/50 is better in my opinion

Are they still like that ? I thought back when the came out as a Renault it was 60 40 and that was only with the proper front weights on ?

I have a N113 boosted it’s got all the spec 50k front susp loader susp hitec 5 box
It’s ok not ideal for a loader tractor in some ways the lock isn’t the best the visibility for hooking attachments up is nil but I like it
It’s probably been the hardest tractor to get used to I’ve had it is a grower though

When hooking on do you fully "tip" the carriage (fully extend the crowd/tip rams)?

Easy to see to line up with the hooks this way, then just curl back the crowd rams until the bottom lugs click in?

No I don’t do that but I will try it now you’ve mentioned it thanks for that

I would be quite sure that it's a similar system to cnh and Zf. Part hydro part mechanical Vario in between mechanical gears. Not full hydrostatic in between gears. Then you would be walking speed up all hills like a forklift!

can you adjust the amount it slips to make it seem like a full hydrostatic machine.

Would be v nice for loader work if you could.

Aye you can adjust the slip. Four settings from windscreen contact, oh yah bugger that brakes "sharp", to mimicking a torque convertor, also known as "oh yah bugger, I've just forgot to press the brakes and smacked the wall"

It is very, very nice for loader work. Indeed, very nice for all types of work

Sounds good.. are these transmissions generally making it to 10k hours? How is the control for dead accurate positioning with the loader?

Best loader tractor a fairly bold statement!

And incorrect.....

Them wee Deere's with their tiny old cabins weren't built to cope with a forklift bucket and grab like the chassis and suspended axle on the Finnish alternative 🤷

Just as maneuverable, better vision and comfort, altogether a much nicer place to spend a more productive day

And do you know the best thing about the one in the pictures?

It's mine 😜🤣

Awful pity their dealership here is so poor, sporadic and ever changing.
A fine engine, a fine gearbox & backend and a fine front axle, nicely sized, weighted & powered.
A X7.624 would suit me down to the ground as my main tillage tractor, just dealer network and backup not up to my standard over here.

Positioning control is superb. You have to be really aggressive, or simply cack handed not to manage inch precision with just the foot 'throttle' pedal

I've only 7k hours on mine. Dealers workshop guys and other owners have said it's the "conventional" part of the gearbox that usually goes before the hydrostat. Clutch packs and or synchros wear out and need replaced, just like a powershift, though I presume you'd change the hydrostat when in there anyway

What hp is that? It looks mean enough to have already eaten a few tractors for breakfast, lunch and tea. Needs a few leds though don't you think 🤔 😏🤣

Our local dealer lost the mccormick agency last year. He's now Deutz, and has sold over 30 since taking them on. The replacement mccormick dealer by comparison has I believe yet to get the handshake on any deal! I'd say though that that's more a reflection of the dealer than the product
