Hi all.
The blower doesn't work. Tried the fuse and seems to be blowing it.
Was going to try swap the switch for the top one in the roof but they're different pins/connector!
I've had a meter on the switch which doesn't seem to behave the way I'd expect (the middle position seems to be off, and the top and bottom seem to be two 'on' positions. With it being a two speed fan I'd expect the top or bottom position to be off, middle to be low speed and the opposite side to be high speed.
The fan spins freely by hand.
On the connector (as pictured) The two left pins are joined together by the black wire. The two right hand pins have two wires each with one of the brown going to earth and one of the black/yellow wires going to the fuse (so providing power to switch) Then the other four wires go to the motor.
Which consist of wires:
Brown: earth
Black/yellow: power from fuse
Black and red: ?
Black and white
Going forward is there a way I can test the motor as I'm wondering whether the switch might be the issue.
I'd love to know what each of the wires does. A wiring diagram would be great.
If it's not obvious I'm not well up on tractor electrics. So big thanks to any help at all.
