Jd 6830 slow starting

My neighbours 6830,has become increasing slow to start. We have replaced the fuel lines, which has improved it,but I notice it's pressurising the fuel tank,is this common with these,or have we an injector problem?

Make sure you've got fuel lines nipped up properly. Otherwise it could be the injectors. My 6320 pressurised fuel tank when it had a perished pipe.

Double check fuel lines and water trap o ring's failing that maybe worth trying a suction control valve, genuine denso ones available of ebay for about £80 but deffo sounds like a fuel line/oring prob

I've said it before but I'll say it again and again lol, a tin of wurth diesel cure to a tank once a month does a 30series the world of good (y)

Thanks lads,it could be a suction control valve ,by the sound of things,as i'm fairly sure that the fuel lines are ok,the water trap o ring is the only other thing that i didn't look at.

Check the water trap/water trap to filter oring first, it's worth getting the seal kit for it as nobody ever bothers stripping/resealing the whole thing but it's easy job and then you know it's right

Searching forum for an issue with my JD brought me there! Our JD 6534 has developed a fault in that it is pressurising the tank. We changed the cap think it wasn't venting but to no avail. Put a rubber glove over neck which processed to inflate. Any suggesting before stripping injectors off?

Does it have the old mechanical fuel pump with priming lever on side? If it does the diaphragm may be split inside. Pretty sure that was an issue on JD 6410 here many years ago. to do with pressure in tank. Changing the good old JD porous fuel hoses is a good a place to start making sure the clamps are good too. I use fuel hose from Pirtek now which is lasting much better.
