I re built it,the bloke who owned it previous recked it,was not fit to be let loose with a machine,as I told person who bought it,ask him if he contacts you again

Bit harsh. Nothing wrong with the drill, it needed work doing to it as I told everyone that looked at it.

think the only time it had seen a grease gun for a few years was when you plastered it over it, its people using machines like that that get contractors a bad name

Does that make any difference to how a machine puts seed in the ground?

I think you're talking bullshine btw, all of matt's kit that I have seen has been immaculate. I can't see him buying a dog,

I can assure you it saw one regularly, your welcome to come and look at my machinery to see its all well looked after. Shall I send you the pictures of the rebuild I did? (coulters removed from drill, stripped right down and rebuilt - old bushes re-used at that point as they weren't in need of replacing then) I can assure you it was in worse condition when it arrived with me (90% of depth adjustment seized solid, lots of bearings gone, in need of new tyres, broken springs), but I saw the condition when I looked at it and knew I'd have to do a fair bit of work on it when I got it home.

Therefore I didn't feel the need to go shouting about on an Internet forum that the previous owner wasn't fit to use machinery when really it was just in a used condition which is to be expected from a 10-12year old drill. Why would they spend a lot of money on something they are going to sell, better to sell for a bit less (you wouldn't get back the cost in time & parts of you did the work on it anyway) and let the next owner do the work if they feel it is necessary.

I think your just a bit grumpy that you've had to mess about rebuilding it rather than someone else, which is fair enough - They're not the easiest things to work on, but please keep your false accusations to yourself rather than blaming someone else and trying to spread a load of rubbish.

they are easy to work on, enjoy working with machinery, was taking tractors and machinery to bits and putting it back together before you where thought about, just say as I see, at least it gave me something to do for a while to fill in the boredom in winter,at least I don't have to use it:)
