Hi I am using a star fire 3000 receiver and steering wheel controller and whatever settings I put it on at oversteers constantly. Does anyone have experience with setting these up better. It seems to be worse since I did the latest update on it.
Thanks

Are you using an atu steering motor these are my setting in sprayer. But keep playing with them will look at numbers and write em down if you cannot see them just keep playing. But do it then give it a couple rounds to settle and see difference then adjust again you will get there

Are the offsets set up accurately?

Which update was this? There are no new Starfire updates available - the last one was Feb 2015 IIRC. I have had offset issues since that one was done.

I have only just updated as I was 4 updates behind! It's now on update 2.1 I believe.
It is fitted to a john Deere 6930 on a mounting bracket on the centre of the cab. I have tried a range of settings changing then gradually. It very frustrating as up until the update it worked very well. Maybe i need to get the tape out and check all the offsets in case anything has been changed.

I think I have fixed the problem. The power supply was from the plug in the cab, we have now wired directly from the battery and seems to be working fine. Thanks for the help.

Interesting I got intermittent problems with an atu. Fine most of the time but used over a long period find it gets lethargic/lazy acquiring the line, press the resume switch and does a half assed attempt then disengages but press again and it's fine. Also occasionally have it where it oversteers or veers off and switching the plug off and on fixes the problem.:scratchhead:

Also if you hit a bump( granted a fairly big one) the steering loses power. So may go for direct feed like you, how've you gone about powering down now it's connected direct?
