MF 6490

MF 6490 transport spec, front and cab suspension, 40k, 3078 hrs one owner.
This tractor is for sale through no fault of its own, it has been on the full service contract with MF. It has had no mechanical problems and has never missed a beat (the front nearside mud guard is being replaced). I would sell this tractor to my best friend it is sound!
We have reduced our farmed acreage from 1000 to 220 so the tractor is no longer required.

Weaving multi disc 5m, I had these custom built in 2009 (I think), their discs were good, tulip discs, but not man enough these have a very heavy duty headstock, big roll and plates to stop the disc arms from moving. This is a decent bit of kit. We have reduced acreage and now DD. Needs 160hp to pull at any speed.

Kuhn 3m power harrow 1999 little used since cows went in 2004, GWO
Needs new tines, although I have seen people get them much shorter.

Spaldings flat lift 90/150 2.7m three leg with crumbler roller. 2008 I think GWO some spares, legs have had wear plates welded on, new set in spares.

90 is a much longer wheelbase and slightly less nimble. Great tractors though.

Ah yes, more of an arable tractor. We could do with a 6480 to put the loader on and drag a sprayer about. A general purpose but not too big.

Seriously?! Maybe its just the wide tyres then. They are physically much larger than many other tractors i've driven, and I assumed a 6480 would be more nimble. Perhaps not.

Just had a look it's 9" wheelbase 19" overall. Big boots make it taller.
