Yes ive tempit water comeing from plate cooler can this be linked to hot water electric cylinderThere are electric heat pump water heaters, but you won't get the temp you want for dairy washing out of them, you will get lots of milk replacer mixing temp.
Heat exchangers directly from the milk and heat recovery off the milk cooling compressor is the most efficient, and common.
Is that taking into account the Elec to run the heat recovery system? We installed a system years ago and saw no difference in our electricity consumption.Heat recovery on the compressor gives us water at around 60 degrees.
For every 100 litres of water, to heat from 10C to 80C takes 8kw leccy
60C to 80C takes 3kw leccy
so saving of 5kw leccy every 100 litres
I’ve just installed three new heat recovery tanks and there is no electricity used, they have no moving parts, pumps etc. electric use has dropped by just over 20%Is that taking into account the Elec to run the heat recovery system? We installed a system years ago and saw no difference in our electricity consumption.
Shouldn’t need electric to run a heat recovery unitIs that taking into account the Elec to run the heat recovery system? We installed a system years ago and saw no difference in our electricity consumption.
not every system installed is working correctly... or even at all.Is that taking into account the Elec to run the heat recovery system? We installed a system years ago and saw no difference in our electricity consumption.
Our system has a little pump on each compressorShouldn’t need electric to run a heat recovery unit
InterestingOur system has a little pump on each compressor
Designed by our fridge man who reckons it gives better results than the systems where the fridge gas goes through the cylinder

Pumps water through the holding tankInteresting
What the little pump doing with the refrigerant?
The pump is pumping water. The brass thing to the left is a heat exchanger with refrigerant one side and water the other. Mine is plumbed up the same.Interesting
What the little pump doing with the refrigerant?
Our is identical, the refrigerant goes through a heat exchanger and the water from the tank is circulated through the heat exchanger with a tiny electric pump. It generates huge amounts of hot water. Last summer when the condensers were working hard we were dumping 60 degree water on the floor to cool the milk more quickly. Our system has a little pump on each compressor

Purs was about 5k a couple of years ago? What does a heat recovery system cost to install?
I find Siliphos or Combiphos work better than conventional water softeners with salt, are cheaper to run and maintain.Purs was about 5k a couple of years ago?
3 compressors connected, fabdec tank, about 500litre capacity?
Put in a water softener if you've hard water.
