Murray Simpson sale ceres

I was there, left before the tractors sold but from what I hear it was a decent trade. Was a helluva folk there
A lot of brand new jd parts especially for 1075/1177 type combines

Certainly was , I'm told one muirhill made 10k, the other 6k, agrostar deutz 11k.
One of the allies chalmers made 11k.
There was a spud wheeled jd on a pallet the looked like it's been lifted out the showroom made 14k

There was a serious amount of old operators and workshop manuals
The showroom was the john deere was the one at Mannheim! After restoration Murray loaned it to John Deere to put on display at Mannheim. When he lost the jd agency he put it on that pallet and brought it back home to Ceres.
 
There wouldn't be much left at ceres after today anyway, amazing that workshop with the oven and paint booth in it that was never used :scratchhead:

no, it will be looking very empty there after today. they made do with the little workshop at the far side. As long as the big workshop wasnt used he didnt need to pay rates on it so it was just left unused.
