Nice digger
Never realised you had a pony tail @roscoe erf
yes I'm hip with the kids manNever realised you had a pony tail @roscoe erf
no cubicles I'm trying to make it one person operation so i will have a feed passage which i can scrape and a couple of pens for calves or new mums probably not making much sense but i have a planYou fitting it out with cubicles then or whats the plan?
need to use the shed in summer or if the cows go so it will convert back to a open space ,even the diagonal feed barriers are hinged, in a few minutes well not including mucking outThat makes sense, we have a shed similar, just saw the clad on the end and post layout and thought cubicles but I was way off!
You probably have a reason but why round posts, I am intrigued.
Ok so they are sleeved but you can get square sleeved or have you a reason not to use them, the posts will spin in the sleeve on the round ones, or have you a plan or secret that you aren't sharing!need to use the shed in summer or if the cows go so it will convert back to a open space ,even the diagonal feed barriers are hinged, in a few minutes well not including mucking out
arr i want them to turn a bit as the gates are not quite the right size iyswim but on the hole the post will hang and receive so shouldn't be an issue unless you open both which i won't need to doOk so they are sleeved but you can get square sleeved or have you a reason not to use them, the posts will spin in the sleeve on the round ones, or have you a plan or secret that you aren't sharing!
Weld some lugs to those sleeves will help hold them in better than the plates on the bottomgot the old post hole borer out and started putting in the holes for the drop posts bloody ground was hard but got there slowly will put a 3"base of concrete in for them to sit on using the topcon laser level saved no end of time so they should be flush when the 6" of concrete floor is laid View attachment 75232View attachment 75233View attachment 75234View attachment 75235View attachment 75236

won't show you the vast array of safety equipment i used putting it up
yes thats correctWhat size is that, 20x30
thanks a lot I'm hoping it will save a lot of man hours once up and runningGreat thread roscoe only just seen it(slipped under the radar!).
Should be a good setup once finished!
I guess that ladder is just being "stored" against the steelwork in that last picture as I'm sure you'd never go up a ladder that was resting on a rung!...
