Need some rain !

Drying out very fast now. Clay soils starting to crack in the top.

Stewardship seeds gone into a dustbowl pretty much as well the last couple of days.

You want to move to Devon for that kind of crap.
Quite. This weather is fantastic. Can leave boots out at back door overnight. Feel lovely and cool in morning. Bright blue sky at dawn to listen to dawn chorus. I know cereals are loving it when i can walk into a crop at 8 am without wellies or leggings. This weather makes sad I fell into the Septoria year from hell mularkey in early May. All I have done is give all the UK BASF reps their bonus. I expect some reward this winter with a couple of decent ‘conferences’ telling me how well Revystar performed. Funny old game.

Yes on the lower leaves. I have been inspecting Sept sown crops that were sprayed with Univoq or Revystar 10 days ago. Final leaf 1 and 2 clear. 5% leaf 3 showing lesions. Below that all dead with Septoria. I think and hope is held on leaves 1 and 2 but might still be active leaf 3. Wants to be given BASF extortionate price for Revystar used where clients wouldn’t use Fenoxpicamid. At least the Univoq was a more reasonable price. But the best thing to happen is no rain since May 15 and even better very dry overnight, so leaf wetness reduced. Give me all June like this.
