Mark Watson Tow Law has announced via his Facebook page that he and his family have decided to become the new Deutz Fahr dealers for the northeast region of England it’s a brave move in the present climate of Agriculture and the wider economy. For any of you that don’t know Mark he’s a been regular at farm sales since I can remember and also runs a very good agricultural haulage business moving machinery all over the country.
Best of Luck Mark

After a lot of conversations over a long time and the fact that we get on very well with everyone in the organisation that we have had contact with.
I can confirm the rumours that Watson Machinery are going to become Deutz-Fahr dealers.
We will be covering our immediate area and across too the coast as far north as druiridge bay and south towards whitby, DW Toppin and Tunstall tractors will be looking after their established areas including Teesdale and upper weardale
We Will be Offering
Sales

Service (including diagnostic’s for new and older Deutz products) with servicing and repairs in our workshop or on site

We will also be setting up a parts store for Deutz-Faur and our existing franchises as well as all Agricultural machinery consumables (we will not be selling animal husbandry or clothing we already have Gardners and Robson AH in the area for that)

Tractors should start arriving over the next few weeks provisionally after a meeting with SDF’s UK manager today our initial stock (tbc) will comprise of
5120 Very Hi Spec Loader Tractor
5D Keyline 90bhp manual shuttle Dog and Stick tractor
A 6C with the much talked about RV Shift
And a 6170 with all the usual Deutz-Fahr spec should be with us in time for the hay season
We have been approached by several manufacturers over the years and have always said No!! but I’ve always liked a Deutz I think they are a fabulous high quality Tractor that just don’t have enough people supplying them “

In the 6C and the new 6.4 from 115 to 150 approx its a 20 forward 16 reverse gearbox, i think its basically the CVT transmission with preset gears at slightly lower price/spec.

On Youtube Landpower TV Deutz -Fahr 6C RV Shift Tractor : First Impresseion.
Wonder why they did that. Surely if going to put a cvt in, ye might aswel have all the benefits

I’ll try one this year off Toppins the only thing that bothers me is the controls and plastics in the cab when I’ve sat in one in there yard

obviously I might get used to them after a week on one
