also noticed a fresh calved (33 month old!!!!!) heifer made £2600 in Ballymena last Friday!
How/Why are milk heifers and cows this expensive given the current milk price?

Wish when im in the mart sellin that the buyers would fall out2 boys fell out and pushed her to £2600. Same man sold 2 more at over 2k.
Main run of heifers were in the £1500-1800 range.
That'll be a big part of it, no cows coming from GB for the next few weeks too.Tb maybe?
