When you go to the dentist they don’t start with the drill immediately after giving you the injection.

One of my past dentists used to. When you started squirming he would just give you another injection. When you walked out of the dental surgery you couldn't feel your face for ages.

Not a good idea, looked what happened when one MP was looking for a Claas Dominator ( allegedly). Imagine all the resignations from MP's caught looking up Numnuts on their phones during a debate.

I once had a stand-in lady dentist - fine pair of lungs on her - barely needed a jab that day!!! Just lay back and imagine your head is very comfortable....
Joking apart - find a good one (might even be female!!) , there`s NO NEED to have pain nowadays - just tell them you don`t want it and if they can`t do the job without just get up and walk out WITHOUT paying.... I know a guy used to be "sh*t scared", he got the right one and he`s OK with the job now...

What a bunch of woosies. I always used to have fillings done without any anaesthetic, just crack on with the drill and get it over with.

Not that I ever feared the tiny, sharp needle at all you understand.
