right...friend of mine has recently grafted a 6.354 into an IH 634....a good swap i think, least he doesnt have to spend half his life with his finger held on the pre heat button now

being a combine engine..it has the "constant speed" type of governor, he says it pulls well, but is a bit gutless at lower revs and doesnt govern as well

Told him that what he really needs is the fuel pump from either a 699 or a 2600 series MF, as these will have been setup for the tractor spec engine as opposed to a combine one

Now...does anyone happen to know the CAV/DPA numbers for either of the above, just to give him a bit of a head start in finding the right pump?
