Parlour receiver jar issues

Struggling with parlour receiver jar, cows gone out to grass and after two sides have been milked receceiver jar is full of milk foam.Jar is vari speed and worked via probes until it was
“Upgraded” to a float set up last autumn.Had the same problem when cows were still grazing last year but has been ok whilst cows have been housed. Engineer been out to it a few times and apart from altering pump stop/start doesn’t seem to be able to cure the problem.Anybody come across this issue?Any ideas?

I have this silicone pipe taking cooler milk from the output side of the plate cooler, and droping it into the top of the reciver jar. Dosnt completely stop the froth but it helps.
Also my new parlour engineer says having a small bore silicone hose taking cool air from inside ice bank tank will also have the same effect.

Years ago we had a float system and it was shite,we had to watch when emptying jars, always thought we needed a bigger receiver, then I bought a davlec liquid level box and probe set up,never had a problem again.

Hi we recently purchased a air bleed probe but unsure if it inserted right. There are 3 air bleed holes one end and a black cap with holes the other. Which end goes in receiver receiver vessel??? Its a GEA probe and vessel.

Spring grass!
Cherish that

As above, I don't know for sure but I assumed when we had heaps of froth "in the can" then it meant the cows were a bit low on energy. Has your milk fat content gone up?

You got it, long stainless tube with three holes in the bottom. Cap end should have a foam filter inside, that stays outside the jar. The three tiny holes in the bottom of the probe need to be immersed in the milk. the vacumn causes air to be drawn in and makes a bubbling effect which you would think makes it worse, but it works a treat at dispersing the froth.
