Hi @Rob Graham, are you looking for a hardware (drive to put the disk in) or software (program to play the disks in your machine) answer?
I've only ever played with Pioneer BluRay drives as a backup device and must admit find the PlayStation on our TV hard to beat for watching BluRay movies so never played in this area sorry.
Software @FarmGeek as I purchased the PC from a family member who used the PS3 for Blu-rays despite the PC having the hardware. The current software, Cyberlink PowerDVD9 Ultra doesn't have the necessary licences to open recent Blu-rays and have trawled the net for options but no hard reccomendations so I'll try VLC cheers
That's odd that the machine was supplied to your family member with hardware and not the software to utilise it.
If you get no joy let me know the exact OS you are running on the PC
