Prices of a loader tractor these days?

Not 100% sure I’m going to trade it in or not so just looking roughly on what people were paying for new tractors of all brands
Ah 🙄

Price of all brands also very dependent upon the spec. I note you've not said if its a full spec loader tractor with vario gearbox, electric spools, heavy chassis built for 200hp, etc etc, or a tarted up light weight scraper tractor like a New Holland t5?

While I understand the need for generating forum traffic, a little more info might narrow down the answer! Currently you're looking between £80k for the lightweight scraper, to more than double that for a fendt 514profi plus.

Same HP, but very different machines capable of very different tasks. What tractor do you currently have?

I’m sorry if I larf😄
Q should have been asking about a general purpose tractor that can mount a loader and do what seems like every job on the farm😮
Be prepared to spend a shed load of £’s and still not be satisfied😪

From my perspective a loader tractor isn’t suitable for cultivations. Way too much to do to make it so.

IMO I’d buy a SH JCB for £13-20k and then buy a decent tillage machine.
A lot less faff in the long term.
And I’m absolutely NO expert🤣🤣🤣

Always found a loader tractor ha suited my needs and currently never had issues with it not being suitable.

totally get the point about getting a cheaper forklift and no loader but just doesn’t suit for me

The loader tractor on the hill livestock farm here also does tillage, grassland, haulage, harvest, charity work, etc etc etc.

No need for a separate forklift!

I wanted one designed and heavily enough engineered for a "proper" loader boom, with a vario gearbox, electric spools, slip control, a comfortable spacious cab......so bought a good second hand tractor and fitted a loader

@NorthumbrianFarmer what tasks do you perform with your loader tractor? What tractor do you currently have?

Massey 5s145 with loader was £75k a year and a half ago, you can add another £20k on top of that now!!!
Be a fair bit more if you start tarting it up with front suspension, dyna 6, fancy electronics etc.

Loader will be mainly just handling straw and silage, it will be leading a lot of straw. Current tractor is a claas axos but the farm expanded recently and is needing the extra HP and will be doing drilling, ploughing and fert spinning
