ROAD PLANINGS - AREA'S CURRENTLY AVALIBLE.

index.php

THE IDEA OF THIS THREAD IS TO ALLOW FARMERS TO SEE IF WE ARE CURRENTLY COVERING THEIR AREA

From just 1 load to as many as you require, we can deliver road planings to your land, directly off the elevator belt from the road planer. All we require is that we have reasonable access for 8 wheeler tippers, the tipping area is on hard level ground, and there are no overhead cables.
The drivers will have a map with your postcode included on it, and will ring you just as soon as they are loaded on site, just to give you a bit of notice that they are on their way.

Please Remember we are under pressure to ensure low turn around times for our wagons and have a MAXIMUM turn around time of 1 hour 10 minutes from our job on the road.

Yeah £60 for 20 tonnes is dirt cheap, can I ask what they are like? I can go down to £4 a Tonne when I'm dealing with Bulk buyers or not amazing product (breakout, curbs ect....) but because we only deal with 25-30mm deep digs on Motorways we start at £6.00 a Tonne for 1 load (£120 a Load = 20 Tonnes) purely because its really nice planings coming off the belt! the more you buy, the cheaper it gets.

Anyone had any issues with road planing's from the environment agency or rivers agency? Had some offered to me last week for £60 per load in Northern Ireland but herd some stories that it wasn't totally legal as its a classed as a contaminated waste for some silly reason!!

Basically as long as they are not Tar-Bound you will be fine. There is a limit as per how much you can store (Technically its 150 Tonnes) but if you are planning on using it straight away its unlimited. I have some literature here I'd be happy to scan in and send to you to have a read through, just fully explains the legislation regarding planings. so if you message me your email I'd be happy to pop that over.

Cheers
Matt

Matt that would be great if you could! It sounds stupid that there would be anything wrong with using it when the roads are covered with it but the men in the suits know best!!
