I was thinking about trying a preservative this time such as safesil instead of my usual inoculant, I get a lot of clamp wastage and heating in the tmr and am looking to reduce this. Would an acid do just as good a job or are preservatives better at keeping the clamp face cool? Any alternatives to safesil? It's bloody dear but justified if it does what it says on the tin.
