Situation Vacant Skilled Tractor Driver/Sprayer Operator - Hinckley

Skilled Tractor Driver/ Sprayer Operator wanted for a Midlands based Sports Turf Contracting business and arable farm.

Woodward Turf Care is a family run business carrying out Maintenance, Renovation, Construction and Drainage on all sports turf for golf clubs, amateur to professional sports clubs, local authorities and contractors.

The role will involve operating/maintaining a range of modern, specialist machinery on a variety of sports facilities across the midlands and on an all arable farm growing combinable crops. Duties will include relief spraying with a Bateman sprayer, cultivations, and operating a wide range of sports turf machinery.

This position requires a person who enjoys working to a high standard with particular attention to detail. The candidate will be able to work as part of a team but when necessary work under their own initiative.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

PA 1 and PA 2 required.

HGV class 2 an advantage but not essential.

In return there is an excellent rate of pay.

This position is initially a 6 month contract starting in April but could lead to permanent employment.
