Spearhead 686 break back problem

Hello,
We have a 2003 spearhead 686 it has become very weak when hedgecutting and even in light hedges it will be "pushed back" if that makes sense ? Anyone have any ideas? I have checked the ram which seems ok is there a valve somewhere they we need to check/replace ?

It's probably the ram seals need replacing but there should be a break back valve like this...

Part no.8 may need the centre hex screw turned in very slightly...(may have a locking nut around it)

The other thing we have noticed is when we are slewing it it lift up. Like oil is passing something if shouldn't?
