Supersoil?

And if you listen to Prof Tom Curtis of Newcastle University, he says that if you want to introduce a new bacterial strain into a population, unless the new population is more than 10% of the numbers already there, the old ones will out compete the newcomers
The existing biology are a result of their environment, unless that changes I would imagine any influx would soon succumb to this ??

If you rounded up all the bacteria from a hectare of healthy soil and put them over a weighbridge, there would be between 5 and 8 tonnes, so according Prof Curtis, innoculation needs to be at least 500 KGs of actual bacteria. So what is the recommended application rate for this Supersoil? Presumably it will be mostly water in the can anyway so likely it is only introducing a few grammes of actual bacteria into an alien environment where they will struggle to survive anyway.

We've been developing our product for three years now. It's very expensive to run extensive controlled trials. Can I haz more moneyz for that plz? :D

I've not seen any record of their trials anywhere. I'd love to. So far a friendly farmer in Scotland pitched their product against extract from our compost. See attached. She was looking at soil mass around roots in sheep pasture.

An ad has popped up on Adam's feed on Instagram suggesting that they mine forest floor to make it. It would make some sense as long as it's sustainable.

ps. On the note of establishment of new microbes - we've seen results on plants before any changes in microbiome. There could be molecules in the extracts which affect plant growth that nobody is talking about yet.

Interesting trial, how long after application were the samples taken and were samples taken from all areas before treatment to determine an overall base line average or was it just from the sample area used?

In the report it said that the seed dressing was prepared and seeds drilled on the 14th June 2022, whilst the samples were taken on the 28th of September. The only sampling seems to be for control, Supersoil and our extract. I don't know of any extra baseline done there. Thank you.
