It is very easy to stop all the ads - but not in the long term interest of the forum and those who enjoy it.

^ this - no adds would mean no forum now i'm afraid, this place has got expensive to run and I certainly couldn't afford to do so just for fun these days

So the app is crap and they know its crap but thats ok as they make no money out of members who use the app

if you want to fund development and support of an app (£=lots) ) then you can send a cheque and we will do it, keep in mind every time that xenforo updates or changes the forum software (which is pretty regular) you would need to spend again to keep it working

Most people get along just fine and most don't use the app at all, if there was an economic case for it we would do it but there isn't and I'm not a charity

When did you speak to 99% of users
I have an inclanation that its the start up power thats cousing the problem as somone esle touched on .you need strong internet to fire it up .but then one as to ask why after five years of constant use i have never re booted a Facebook app

Could you ask a youngster to check/sort it out for you ? -........ they always seem to be lot more savvy at this stuff than me anyway.

only a guess but I reckon facebook might have a "slightly" larger budget than us
