The great global warming scam, worth a listen I think.

I am referring to the emissions of nitrogen dioxide and carbon dioxide in mixed form from cars, lorries, buses, gas appliances and jet engines. Nobody can expect any asthmatic children to be exempt from a fatal asthma attack in London.
Nasty stuff right enough ! A good friend of mines wife sufferd terribly with asthma, oilseed rape was a big problem for her and when the land surrounding her house was planted in it offff her life was hell for long time … awful thing ..

My father was a victim of asthma and he died in 1957. I then told my mother that someday I would do something about it. I am 79 and still intend to do something about it. I am confident of support because there are many kids with asthma and others who have friends that suffer with it. I have never forgotten seeing my father trying to breathe.

Dose not bear thinking about , is the % of people with asthma higher now or less or same ? What can you do about it ?

The numbers affected just keep rising. I intend to design a website that will urge Londoners to clean up the air for the benefit of birds and bees. If we enrich the environment for wildlife then we enrich it for ourselves. People have some bad habits but changes can help them to save money. Access to my website will cost £6.00. I will then donate that money to a group working for the benefit of birds and bees.

The carbon dioxide does not affect people with asthma
I personally do not think so either. However, CO2 is all the rage at the present time so it is not a good idea to start arguing about the medical impacts of one gas. It will be sufficient to just say that air pollution is responsible for asthma and some other medical calamities.

Carbon dioxide is not air pollution it is in the air all the time.
No one thinks it causes/aggravates asthma because it doesn't

I wrote an article 15-years ago incorporating a phrase saying; "ancient women lit fires in their homes to keep their families warm". When translated to another language it reads; "ancient women set fire to their homes". How can we educate the entire world regarding climate changes when simple translations go all wonky?

Right now, the populations of India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Burma, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam are feeling the heat of the Sun like never before in their lives. News reports show some of them are using water to cool down so their reserves will be depleted. Their cattle may simply die as they have done in Africa year-after-year.
In the UK, we do not have as much water stored as we might think. The reservoirs hide years of siltation and they have not recovered from the drought of 2022. We might get some rain into mid-May but after that there could be serious water shortages.
Looks like the King and Queen will get a bit wet over the weekend.

I haven't watched the movie, but does it argue the earth is warming or cooling? In the longer term (1000s of years) scale, we are actually in a cooling stage, but in the shorter term (centuries and decades) there is a clear correlation between increased CO2 (from industrialisation) and increased temperatures. This increase is so clearly correlated with industrial CO2 output, and increases so significantly that it cannot all be due to natural climate change.

The good news- we are actually entering an Ice Age, so in the long term the current 'global warming' is insignificant;)
Co2 is a good thing though...helps plant life flourish which helps with the pollution surely? Getting rid of Co2 is not a good thing and impossible to achieve when you have volcanoes and other natural sources of Co2 working so hard to reverse the pathetic efforts of HMG
