Hmmph..
It's a sorry state of affairs when seemingly educated people imagine that they're making an argument when they try to tie together two unrelated issues - gun ownership has nothing to do with refugee policy.
All those deep thinkers who reckon otherwise, should try this for size ('cos it's the same, fallacious, argument): "I don't see why France is bothered in the slightest by terrorist killings, when they've lost far more people in heat waves".
The argument made is valid though i suppose subtle for some to grasp, because of the motive, twunt wants to control muslims in case of the terror of them killing american men/women/children, yet doesnt want to control recreational use of assault rifles, handguns, machine guns which terrorise american men//women/children in vastly higher numbers, but because americans killing there own is somehow acceptable.. because they really have a need to play with a machine gun etc etc.
Saying its not valid by comparing it to heatwaves is a little silly as governments arent in charge of heatwaves, nor is saying ban cars then as they kill more? cars are needed to make society function, they provide numerous massive benefits to all parts of a society and economy, a little different to saying over the counter 'give me that sub machine gun man i want go shoot stuff!/people.
